- Looking backward to examine what was, prevents us from being totally in the HERE and NOW.
- Old thoughts, old patterns of behaviour, old dreams prevent us from having new ones.
A new study from Queen’s University in Canada suggests the average person has more than 6,000 individual thoughts every day?
Other experts estimate a whooping 60,000 thoughts per day.
Either way, there is much mental activity that is going on and often we are not fully aware of our thought processes.
The mind can be a battlefield.
What we say to ourselves determines to a large extent the quality of our lives.
Soul sickness is created by mental body sickness.
When you begin to meditate and hold more periods of inner silence, you will be amazed by the amount of self-talk you start to witness in yourself.
As you move the attention to your heart space, you will find that peace will enter your mind.
Make a commitment to avoid all negative thoughts entering your mind for seven days.
Also ask yourself if those thoughts are actually yours or just a program running in the background.
Witness how long you can maintain positive thoughts and keep a positive mental diet.
ACTION: When a self defeating or negative thought enters your mind, commit to “correct them” by becoming aware of their content and creating a neutral association to the thought-form or you can say “Cntl + Alt + Delete”
Affirmation: I am the POWER, MASTER and CAUSE of my emotions and mental state!
