Revolution vs Repression is the theme for the astrology of 2021
We are in an accelerated phase of revolution and evolution and the beginning of July presents some challenging energies for us to navigate.
July 2021 Astrology
When it comes to July the theme is centered around POWER and POWER ISSUES. This month, especially the first week is very volatile and dynamic. This will be a challenging month for us to navigate.
We have Mars at 12 degrees in Leo opposing Saturn at 12 degrees in Aquarius and they are forming a T square to Uranus in Taurus. (See the three red circles in the image).
Let’s break this down.
1. Mars at 12 degrees in Leo
Mars feels assertive of its needs in courageous Leo. Mars stands strong in its individualism and demands freedom. Mars wants to move forward, but Saturn says “Not so fast, kid”. Mars opposite Saturn on July 1st can be a recipe for disaster. On July 3rd/4th Mars square Uranus in Taurus — reckless abandon. Uranus represents moments of sudden change, rebellion, and revolution. Uranus can have us quitting our jobs on a whim and see us driving off into the sunset.
2. Saturn at 12 degrees in Aquarius
Saturn in Aquarius is associated with contraction and rigidity. Saturn represents the structure: traditions, policies, organisations, institutions. It is the planet of rules, regulations, and constraint. So fiery Mars in courageous Leo is butting heads against the “Do it by the book” Saturn in Aquarius.
3. Uranus in Taurus
Uranus is known as the “Awakener,” since its aspects and transits bring sudden changes and shocks. Uranus is the call for revolution. The square to Uranus might have us wanting to blow off some steam. I invite you to pause and take a deep breath. This might not be the best time to make life-changing or irrevocable decisions. Impatience is in the air. Uranus can make us extremely impulsive, and Mars can add a self-destructive streak to that impulsivity. We still have a bunch of activations of the Saturn-Uranus square to go. The story is not over yet.
Note: Leo, Taurus, and Aquarius are all FIXED signs. These signs don’t like change. They are known for being stubborn and wed to their plans. That same commitment to seeing things through can also cause them to fixate and not know when to make adjustments. The gift of fixed signs is that they can stick with something to the end. But it’s hard for them to let go, even when something appears to be a lost cause. They’re not known for their flexibility and have a harder time with change.
This signature has been connected to political earthquakes, natural earthquakes, cyber-attacks, market volatility, financial earthquakes, economic volatility, break down of the food supply chain and volcanic eruptions.
How this will manifest in our 3D experience will vary for all of us.
On the 1st of July, I witnessed two female drivers lashing out at each other because the car in front suddenly pulled over without an indicator.
On the 2nd of July, I saw a man and a women in a shopping center hurling abusive language at each other because the man forgot to wear his mask and was actually on his way back to the car to get it.
In both cases these individuals were looking at me to support their view. The best thing you can do is to consider;
1. How do you personally want to use your energy?
2. Whom and what circumstance will you share your energy?
Suggestions for July
If you can cancel plans or keep your schedule light, that will help you be a bit more flexible in managing whatever comes up. But even if you can’t, just set your expectations lower.
Things might take much longer than you want them to take. You might FEEL frustrated and like nothing is happening. Take a deep breath and remember that this feeling WILL pass. If you can’t move forward, just stop, do your due diligence, and then pick back up when you can.
