Family Of Light,

Do you have “digestive issues?” Pain, bloating, food intolerances, changes in bowel habits?

Welcome to our final e-mail, Part 4, of our Health and Wellness series where we are focusing on Gut Health. If you missed the previous e-mail, click here.

In this series, I will share my knowledge of astrology, plant medicine, and energy medicine to assist you with the physical changes we are all experiencing on planet earth at this time.

My journey with healing my gut started in 2007 after being diagnosed as Gluten and Lactose intolerant. Following the birth of my first child in 2010, I developed thyroid and liver issues and clinicians could not explain why.

Looking back, I can now see how my gut health was causing other issues in my body.

More recently I have been learning ways to heal from Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO). SIBO is when there is too many bacteria in the small intestine.

As a result, I have been educating myself on food and lifestyle choices that can help me. I have personally found that meditation, plant medicine, exercise, and food education have all played a pivotal role in managing my healing journey.

Healing starts with becoming educated and empowered about what is happening to your body! Just like I did, you need to take ownership of your health. That means asking questions, researching, and staying informed.

Did you know that at least 75% of your immune system is located in your gut? That’s why, if you’re concerned about boosting your immune system and staying healthy, one of the FIRST things you should do is take a close look at your gut. An unhealthy gut puts your immune system at risk.

SIBO isn’t a “new” disease – it has likely been occurring as long as people have been alive. The most important thing you need to know is that SIBO (which is often IBS) can cause leaky gut.

When pathogens and undigested food hit the bloodstream, they activate the immune system and can lead to a variety of symptoms (and eventually autoimmune disease).  That means a problem that starts in your gut could eventually lead to conditions like Hashimoto’s thyroid disease, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, alopecia, having psoriasis, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and more.

This wraps up our Health and Wellness Series. I hope enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed creating it. My goal is to always empower you to take ownership of your healing journey. Continue to ask questions, research, and stay informed.

Remember to stay in conscious co-creation with your body.

With a Loving heart,
